的 Association serves as the representatives of the student body, thus enabling members to act as liaisons between the student body and the administration, 教师, 和工作人员. 协会管理其业务, 基金, and regulates its activities with the advice and consent of the Office of Student Involvement. 的 Association operates within parameters and guidelines set pursuant to the University 政策 and Procedures consistent with the 任务 Statement.
的 purposes of the Association are to:
a. Represent the thoughts and ideas of the student body;
b. Inform students of their rights and responsibilities;
c. Promote and defend the general welfare of students;
d. Foster cooperation between the administration, 教师, students, and community;
e. Encourage commitment to the University and its 任务;

g. Encourage student involvement within the University and surrounding community; and
h. Serve the community as representatives of the University.

Every semester SGA coordinates a campus safety walk with the 大学警察 Department, 校园安全, 设施, as well as members of the maintenance and grounds team to ensure a safe campus for everyone. 的 team walks campus in the dark to see w在这里 improvements can be made, and information on the progress of ongoing projects can be found 在这里.

的 学生上诉法庭 considers citation appeals from currently enrolled students related to breaches of parking and transportation regulations. 的 university's traffic and parking regulations provide a method of safe vehicular and pedestrian traffic for students, 教师, 工作人员, 参观校园的人.
Additionally, the court considers sanctions and appeals regarding SGA elections. 的 court has the jurisdiction to decide its own court rulings in that St. 365比分网电竞 and its properties are privately owned, and all actions taken upon said property are under the jurisdiction of St. 爱德华大学及其执行者.
